Once you get sick of a character, or just can't seem to play it right, you can drop it off here. The former players have a choice as to who the character goes to, and have the option to make the hopeful adopters supply a sample post.

the wood . . .
[ ]drop off.
The road ends here. Trees take it's place, tall ones, mostly trees that are pointed at the top and wider at the bottom. These odd, pointed trees don't loose their leaves, and stay green all year round. However, some resemble the few trees back in Vegas - however are much more rural looking. The Drop Off is where the dogs had been unloaded from the truck they were brought here in, yet there is no longer any evidence of this truck.
00
[ ]beneath the canopy.
The wood isn't usually dark during the day, but at night it's a totally different story. The dogs must find a way to adapt to the blackness, and find a way to see during the colorless and pitch black nights. The trees aren't the only reason for this, it's simply the lack of civilization, but one can't say the trees block off the stars and the moon above. All of which something the city dogs are not at all used to seeing. This place offers shelter from the snow, but is no warmer than the open areas of the wilderness.
00
[ ]glitter caverns.
The caverns aren't as large as actually caves, and one wouldn't provide shelter for more than four dogs. This definitely isn't a nice place to call packlands, but is a perfect place for loner families to gather, or just single loners, and shelter themselves from the weather if it gets bad. The caverns glitter because of some weird gem inside (the humans would call it amethyst), that hasn't yet been discovered by the twolegs. This is a very safe place to be, unless you are challenged for your shelter (which definitely would happen in horrible weather).
00
the clearing . . .
[ ]the center.
This is pretty much a sanctuary to the street dogs. At first, every single one, despite any rivalries, exist here. The center of the Clearing is the most populated part, meetings and such are held here as the dogs decide what to do next. The canines have merged into one pack, and as of now, they are all allies. Whether this will change or not is undetermined; the dogs will just have to hope for the best.
25
[ ]the outskirts.
The outskirts of the clearing are loaded with bushes and wildflowers in some places, and in others the place looks totally bare. Rabbits tend to make their dens beneath the bushes, and slowly the city dogs are learning to hunt (the dogs previously of the Sarnes pack have already accomplished the task, as well as a few of the Dynasty Clan). The rabbits all have their little families, and as long as you let them multiply and don't scare them away, you'll have a nice source of food.
00
[ ]redwood cave.
This huge tree is not a Redwood tree, but could easily be compared to one. It's giant, and it's origin is unknown. But all the dogs know is that it offers shelter; however only the most important sleep here (with an exception of when the important ones feel generous and give away the spot to somebody for the night). The "important" ones are the previous alphas of the three packs. The hole isn't that small, and offers enough personal space for them each to have their own special corner.
00
[ ]shower pool.
The Shower Pool branches off from a stream, which developed off of a large river that flows west of the clearing. A series of miniature cataracts (or rapids, if you will) make a noise like rain, therefore one would imagine a human's shower when hearing it. It won't go up past one's ankles, but it is definitely a pretty little pond to sit next to.
00
the river wide . . .
[ ]the river itself.
This river is loaded with fish, and the deepest part (in the center) is approximately fourteen feet. It is incredibly wide, yet if you happen to be standing on one side and looking out at it, you could easily tell it's a river and not a lake. The water glistens in some places, however in others it is loaded with beaver dams and slightly angry beavers that don't like to share their water, so steer clear (this rodents aren't the best prey, because if you so much as threaten one you'll have a whole gang after you; plus, it's hard to chew through the undercoat).
00
[ ]hourglass waterfall.
The waterfall looks nothing like an hourglass, but the beauty of it makes one think about that desired "hourglass" shape amongst human females. There is no cave hidden by the falls, even though one would imagine there to be, but it's just your average waterfall. The slope is hardly visible if you look at the ground, but it looks quite steep when gazing at the river.
00
[ ]resting stones.
A lot of these boulders are flat-topped, therefore make a nice resting place. They may be slightly hard, but when the sun is in the right spot (and when the sun is out at all), it's like taking a bath in all the heat. On a cold day, if the sun's out, you can lie here and feel like you're back in Vegas. You have a perfect view of the river, as well as the flock of ducks that live in the foliage beside the water.
00
elevation . . .
[ ]the range.
The mountains are incredible, something the dogs have never seen before. The stretch high into the sky, some larger than the buildings back in Vegas, and are usually grouped. The Range is a huge group of mountains, each seems to be a little bit bigger than the one that comes before it. No dog has yet climbed to the top, because as you get higher, the colder it becomes. Also, the air pressure starts to drop when you get high enough, making it very uncomfortable for climbers. At the top, there is snow. All year round. The sides of the mountains are covered in trees, the kinds that don't loose their leaves.
00
[ ]range's base.
At the base of the Range, there are smaller versions of the might mountains. These are called hills, and aren't that different from the hills back in Vegas. However, these hills don't have cars parked all over them. The hills are popular spots to go at night to see the stars; yet another sight the dogs aren't used to seeing. There are loads of small prey scattered along these hills, as well as some larger game.
